8:00 PM Belly Dancing with T. Gillom and Shimmy Jam   T.Gillom is a Milwaukee area Egyptian Fusion style belly dancer & choreographer. She grew up surrounded by dance, between copying breakdancers in her neighborhood, taking West African dance classes in a gifted & talented program in school, and watching Michael Jackson videos. She has studied Egyptian belly dance technique since 2005, after the devastating loss of her mother in 2004. She began performing in 2009, & with a great love for the art began teaching a class called Shimmy Jam in 2011. She created Shimmy Jam as a way to help women identify & achieve their wellness goals through belly dance, just as it helped her regain her sense of well-being after losing her mother. T. Gillom and Shimmy Jam perform at many special events & festivals in the Milwaukee area and are looking forward to belly dancing at Pridefit!
