The Midwest's fastest growing talent competition
is back for the fifth year in a row. Our talent search has expanded
to more audition locations all over the region, including several
new cities!
Hundreds of contestants will compete at 14 auditions
across the region at various bars & clubs, followed by a final
chance to be the fifteenth Semi-Finalist at the Wild Card audition
held during the opening night of PrideFest 2008 on June 6th. The
winner from each audition will move on to the Semi-Finals, held
Saturday, June 7th at PrideFest at 4:00 pm on the Rainbow Stage.
The semi-finalists will compete in front of a panel of celebrity
judges to try and make it into the Top 5. The Top 5 contestants
will compete in the Finals on the Miller Lite Main Stage at PrideFest
on Sunday, June 8th, at 4:00 pm, along with other special guest
performances. Our panel of celebrity judges will make the final
cut and determine who becomes the 2008 Pride Idol!
The Pride Idol 2008 grand prize winner will receive
a $500 cash prize, open for PrideFest's Headliner on the Miller
Lite Main Stage on Sunday June 8th, and other great prizes. Prizes
will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Whether you're competing or watching the audition,
this is a great event for everyone to attend. The auditions are
very entertaining to watch, and there will be audience prizes
at every audition.

I WANT TO AUDITION! HOW CAN I REGISTER?
Online registration for the Wild Card audition is closed. Registration
will begin again on festival grounds at 5:30pm, Friday at the Rainbow Stage.
The competition will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
