Saturday, June 8: Creating LGBTQ Inclusion in the Workplace

bryan_niketh_pridefest_milwaukeeThe Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce will facilitate a panel discussion on the value of LGBTQ equality in the workplace — and how employers can create LGBTQ-supportive work environments.

We’ll explore some of the current challenges facing LGBTQ employees, best practices in fostering LGBTQ diversity in the workplace, and the many benefits of LGBTQ supportive workplace policies – from benefits to individuals to benefits to businesses.

Panelists will be members of the Chamber’s LGBT Workplace Alliance, a group of individuals representing LGBTQ employee business resource groups (EBRGs) at private and public sector companies throughout the state.

Members of the LGBT Workplace Alliance meet on a regular basis and share best practices on a variety of issues. The goal of the LGBT Workplace Alliance is to build a more diverse and inclusive business community. We hope you’ll join our conversation!
