Saturday, June 9: Je Love Music

Je’Love Music performs Saturday, June 9 at 7:45 p.m. at the Wom!nz Spot Cafe.

Rhyming to the rhythms of R&B, Je’Love infuses the upbeats of pop and the mellow vibes of R&B and hip-hop, creating music entirely unique to the ears.

With a burst of sensuality in her tunes and juicy, savory, flavorsome lyrics, she touches the hearts and entices the souls of her listeners.

Je’Love was born in Rosedale, Mississippi a, but was raised and currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. An engineer by profession, she chose to pursue the desires of her heart and build a career in the music industry. She believes that it was her very professional studies that led her to recognize her true talents in the form of writing that hooks the readers. Her poetic skills emerged and she shaped them into exceptionally moving lyrics.

As a teenager, Je’Love performed at Africanfest, a festival that celebrates the African hip-hop culture. She then began performing at talent shows, either with acoustic performances or with recorded instrumental music.

Je’Love’s music and sound have often been compared to legendary artists such as SZA, Beyonce, and Sevyn Streeter. But she still holds a creative distinction that can be found in none other than herself.

Je’Love has revamped her artistic image and reintroduced herself as an artist. Her success can be measured by the wild crowd at the R&B nightclub, The Eight, where she performed once and has already been asked to do more shows.

Her latest release, Surfing Under the Moon, is a big hit on the charts, with an unbelievably active response. For now, Je’Love is devoted to recording her album, Skyline. After the album releases, she plans to tour.
