Heather Jean Maywood plays the Wom!nz Spot on Sunday, June 11.
Heather Jean Maywood is a singer/songwriter from the good ole state of Wisconsin. She grew up in Wauwatosa, then lived in Madison for 3 years, where she became a contestant on 105.5 Triple M’s songwriting reality show “Project M – Season Two.”
Her bright voice and catchy melodies attracted the attention of Nashville bookers, which led Maywood to spend the next four years in Music City pursuing her dreams.
While being around incredible music and musicians was fun and exciting, Heather Jean knew Wisconsin was where her heart truly called home. So, here she is again, back in Wisconsin and loving it!
Heather Jean’s original music is a mix of contemporary county and acoustic pop. She covers a wide variety of genres including folk, oldies, top 40 and more. Maywood is very honored to be performing at the Wom!nz Spot stage at PrideFest for her third year in a row. She hopes all guests have a fabulous time!
