sista strings 2Sista Strings plays the Wom!nz Spot on Saturday, June 11 at 7:45 p.m.

Sista Strings has been a duo since 2014, having been part of a quartet with two of their siblings prior as Sisters of PraiZe. 

Chauntee and Monique Ross have matured musically and stylistically, with a multitude of performances around the states. 

Individually the ladies have performed in Carnegie Hall, soloed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra as well as the Madison Symphony Orchestra, and have placed in international string competitions.

As of late, Sista Strings sound has come to represent the many facets of their musical training. Gospel music was a huge influence in their lives musically and they have opened up for gospel artists Fred Hammond and Virtue.

They have performed with spoken word artist, Malik Yusef, opened for Lupe Fiasco and Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony all within the last year. They collaborate with local Milwaukee artists frequently and are excited as they continue to work on their first project.
