Join our PrideFest 2016 production team!

19642717174_c2d19c4f25_zWe’re looking for local talent to take on key leadership roles, mobilize our team and shape our festival experience.  And we need your help!

With less than 300 days until opening day, the PrideFest 2016 planning season officially kicked off at our Annual Retreat on August 9.  The PrideFest Production team — with new Festival Producer Britt Brown on board — is ready for another year of adventure.

We invite you to join our record-breaking, history-making, award-winning team!

Current openings

  • Secretary.  The Festival Secretary works hand-in-hand with the Festival Producer to ensure a timely, complete and effective flow of communication within the Production team.  The Secretary provides support and structure by managing meeting schedules, agendas, minutes and action items, and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Digital Designer.  Create the look, feel and identity of our 2016 festival as our official Digital Designer!  The Designer is responsible for establishing visual strategy, campaign collateral, advertising assets, social media content and infographics that promote PrideFest 2016.  Showcase your talents with a regional marketing campaign that will reach millions!
  • Street Team Coordinator.  We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing and reliable leader who can staff strategic outreach placements, community partnerships and guerrilla marketing events for PrideFest 2016!  This position requires a strong communicator and connector who can also build and lead a team.  You will also lead the Pride Patrol on and off the PrideFest grounds during the festival weekend.  Looking for a way to support and promote PrideFest year-round? This is an ideal opportunity for you!
  • Program Committee.  Support our History, Stonewall and Arts & Culture managers as a committee volunteer!  Since these areas involve more extensive cultural programming, we need devoted volunteers who can not only staff the festival weekend, but participate in planning and design activities.  You will help us create and deliver more inclusive experiences possible so that our entire community can feel welcome, represented and proud.  Committee members will also have opportunities to support Milwaukee Pride community outreach events throughout the year.

Note:  As a 501c3 non-profit organization, PrideFest Milwaukee is staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers committed to celebrating LGBT culture and community.
