The BJ Daniels Revue
This extravaganza of drag started with PrideFest in 1990 when the small gathering was held at Juneau Park, and then moved as the festival grew to Veteran’s Park. By 1995, BJ had retired from performing just as PrideFest moved to the Summerfest Grounds.
In 2013, both BJ and her revue were back to entertain new and old fans alike, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them back this year. The revue is a compendium of talented drag performers who have worked at one time or another alongside the legendary Daniels, who as part of the 80′s drag boom, played at all the major gay clubs in the state for over 13 years.
Each performer in the sassy revue brings something to the drag table, whether it’s camp, glamour high energy dancing, divalicious attitude or all of the above!
Along with Daniels and the stellar all star cast will be BJ’s fabulous back up dancers who help raise the bar of entertainment to a new level. BJ is proud to be back at PrideFest and wants everyone who sees the revue to know how honored the cast will be to entertain you all once again at what has become one of the leading Pride festivals in the nation!
